Captain Grass is a secret agent for the GIA (Government Intelligence Agency), an umbrella organization controlling DISC (security and investigation service for space bases and industrial plants connected to the space industry), NRO (National Reconnaissance Office, overtly controlling satellites, real brief - quite different) and the Inter-Departmental Taskforce on Nonhuman Infiltration (ongoing effort to locate and if necessary neutralize all known Refuges, super powered microstates and other sources of social, cultural, political and technological disruption).
Captain Grass, or "Cap" Grass as he is sometimes nicknamed is a man whose real past is completely erased. He is a product of the CIA's ZR-BLUEBERRY twin program which also produced false identities and multiple duplicates of ONI / CIA operatives such as Lee, Harvey, Alek and Alexander Oswald, Kerry, Michael, Oswald and Albert Thornberry, Albert, Arthur, George and Harold Osborne and various other infiltration and assassination agents. Captain Grass was one of the last graduates of the orphanage to foreign university pipeline before ZR-BLUEBERRY 3 was shut down in 1999. As was the case with ZR-BLUEBERRY 1 and ZR-BLUEBERRY 2, a high rate of accidental death and premature terminal illnesses combined with statistically unlikely rates of arson, burglary, gas line explosion and terrorist attack have liquidated all ZR-BLUEBERRY trainers and facilities with the exception of Loxahatchee Work Prison which was converted back to normal use as an actual prison in 2000, albeit with all records of "prisoners" and activities at the site pre-1999 missing presumed destroyed. The small government airport adjacent to the prison is still the only "home" Captain Grass has and it under the runway of this airport in a secure bunker where he attends to receive his briefings and debriefings by video.
