Powers:
Insane Jane is, literally, a person called Jane who has become what is colloquially called insane. She is a diagnosed schizophrenic who hears voices and suffers violent episodes of non-discriminatory homicidal mania. She has no real super powers despite her many hallucinations to the contrary. However, she does have surges of maniac strength caused by severe emotional turmoil.

  • ABILITY BOOST (Fighting)(World Class): in times of great emotional distress, anger or fear Insane Jane's Fighting intensity shifts to World Class.
  • ULTIMATE SKILL (Surprise Attack) (Phenomenal): Despite all the warning signs, because of her ability to act meek and normative Jane manages to close in for the kill and make surprise attacks on opponents who logically would easily defeat her. However, beyond situations where a surprise attack would apply, she is not a difficult opponent for an enemy to defeat.

    Limitations:
    Scarred for Life: in an attempt to mix chemical to give herself super powers Jane mixes a concoction of corrosive chemicals and pours it over her head. This has resulted in the left side of her face being deeply irreversibly scarred.'
    Stalled: in her current state of psychosis Insane Jane cannot develop her character or spend karma. If she fully embraces her supervillain status she can lose this Limitation and advance using the Wages of Sin rules for villains.

    Notes: Insane Jane's story is extremely dark and disturbing. She is a deeply unhappy young woman suffering from unmedicated schizophrenia who goes on a murderous rampage before being institutionalized. During her rampage she calls herself The Avenging Star but the media label her Insane Jane once she is caught.
