Powers:
Ymirs are a native life form from the planet Venus. There, the fiery atmosphere does not contain enough oxidizing gases to trigger unlimited Growth in their weirdly spongiform reptilian bodies. The one brought to Earth as an egg, code named U.S. Air Force Project 5 Venus specimen, was approximately 15 feet tall at the time of its death - and still growing. Height: 1 foot (when newly hatched) to about 15 feet when the specimen on Earth was killed. However, Ymir's growth had not stopped. Weight: about 5 lbs to 3,800 lb at 15 feet.

Ymirs are green scaly reptilians, with a dinosaur-like lashing tail, clawed feet and a humanoid upper torso and arms, along with a sagittal crest on its head. Ymir legs bend in the opposite direction to those of humans. The arms of an Ymir seem boneless, bending in perfect curves rather in a way a jointed limb would bend. They may be specialized tentacles, rather than true arms with internal bones. Ymirs have ape-like faces with large jowls.

  • GROWTH (Single Shift): Ymirs hatch and, in an Earth type atmosphere, grow continuously. Their upper limit is as standard for their Power Rank. An Ymir character trying to control this growth must either be put inside an airtight suit where it breathes its native Venusian atmosphere or get a Gold result on a Psyche roll each day to remain at their current height and weight.
  • ELASTICITY - RUBBER BODY (Astounding)

Limitations:

Hunted by the armed forces of the Earth and in particular by the USAF and US Army.

Monstrous

Notes:: Once past 12 feet tall, the Kaiju rules, in particular the Giant-Sized Smashing Things rules, apply to Ymirs.
It should be noted that Ymirs are not automatically hostile; the sample brought back to Earth and accidentally hatched had to suffer mistreatment by humans before going on a rampage.
