Suzanne Bancroft is a single nurse working in the hectic world of the E.R. Suzanne lives a simple existence in a small Colorado town, her focus on saving lives and caring for her patients. That is, until she inherits the powerful sword of the Valkyrie. In the magical realm of Asgard, war is brewing between the mighty Odin and the trickster god Loki. Odin, knowing he has few allies, decides to bestow the power of the Valkyrie to a human from the mortal earth, and chooses Suzanne.

Now, Suzanne finds herself thrust into a strange world she never believed existed, with a strong and violent energy flowing through her. A violent energy that craves the taste of blood.

Powers:
Suzanne Bancroft is a theater nurse and surgical trainee at a metropolitan hospital. By a twist of fate, she interrupted a fight between Asgardian godlings and in the process received the Power of the Valkyrie by accident. It was meant for a trainee Valkyrie in Asgard but instead the mortal woman received it along with the Super Weapon the Esycual Sword. When she draws and wields the Sword of the Valkyrie she gains the full powers of an immortal Valkyrie, as detailed below. The ruler of Asgard, Odin, also gifts to her Pegasus, who recognizes her entitlement to her Valkyrie power and acts as her Steed from then on.

Valkyrie is a mortal girl, but with immortal powers. As such, although she can easily fight mortal foes, Devils and many other threats, against the full cosmic force of an Olympian god or equivalent being she is completely outclassed. Despite this, the physical changes to her body are apparently permanent and she is now beyond the normal human limits of physical fitness.

  • SUPER ABILITY (Fighting)(Astounding): When holding or close to the Sword of the Valkyrie Suzanne's Fighting becomes Astounding. Absent the Staff her Fighting is Decent.
